Our Mission

Rescoping Education is an independently funded initiative dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible learning resources. In an era where many educational services are increasingly gated by paywalls and filled with promotional content, we are committed to building a different kind of tool.

Aims

+ To provide a free, privacy-first learning tool, focused on effective adaptive retrieval practice.

+ To empower individuals by removing barriers to high-quality education.

+ To spread awareness on matters surrounding education in the UK.

+ To free individuals from harmful social influence.

+ Built in response to systemic privacy risks in education, as exposed in the ICO Industry Audit, news reports on widespread data failings, and evidence of commercial profiling of children. While regulators highlight that changes were made, we believe the only foolproof way to ensure ongoing compliance and trust is simple: do not collect the data in the first place.

+ Strict data minimisation: designed to operate without mandatory registration, tracking cookies, or third-party data sharing.

+ Future optional accounts: planned progress-saving features will be strictly anonymous, engineered to protect identity and avoid unique profiling (where companies track a device's silent habits and settings to build a permanent, hidden profile of a user across the web).

The Founder

These resources are built at the intersection of programming and the classroom. By combining computational expertise with real-world teaching, the focus is on creating a tool that makes learning easier and more effective. The tool uses adaptive retrieval practice to turn complex STEM subjects into clear, self-directed exercises that anyone can use.
